Dhoom was the first activity film delivered by Yash Raj Movies in 16 years, since Yash Chopra administered Vijay (1988). It recounts the story of motorbike groups in Mumbai and the cop who groups up with a motorbike merchant to stop them.
The story begins in the city of Mumbai where a motorbike pack begins breaking into banks and other open places and vanishing on Western Express Interstate.
Collaborator Official of Police Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) a down to business cop, is called inside the case. Dixit looks for the assistance of a hoodlum named Ali Khan (Uday Chopra), and devises a trap to catch the group, however it fizzles. Kabir (John Abraham), the pioneer of the pack, inevitably insults Dixit by saying that he couldn't get him regardless of the fact that he was directly before him. He is demonstrated right and the disappointment of Dixit apparently prompts the separation of his association with Ali.
Kabir then draws Ali into his group to occur of Rohit, the pack part who was executed by ACP Dixit. Ali experiences passionate feelings for Sheena (Esha Deol), an alternate pack part. The pack later goes to Goa to perform one final huge heist before getting to be disbanded for eternity. Kabir now sets his eyes on the greatest gambling club in all of India. Kabir and his group quickly plunder the club on New Year's Eve, yet soon they understand that Dixit has driven them directly into a trap. Ali was working for Dixit the entire time and a battle results.
