Ruler is a 2014 Indian comic drama show film steered by Vikas Bahl and created by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Ranaut, who was urged by Bahl to ad lib her lines amid recording, is credited as an extra dialog author. Amit Trivedi gave the musical score and Anvita Dutt Guptan composed the verses. Main photography of the film started in 2012 and took 45 days to finish.

Ruler debuted at the Busan Worldwide Film Celebration, and discharged dramatically on 7 Walk 2014.
